After famous social media services such as Facebook, Twitter
and Youtube being blocked by China, some messaging applications for example,
Line and Kakaotalk have also been blocked.
Some analyse that this happened because of Line allowing
users to share too many posts on the protests on 1st July in Hong
Kong where citizens demanded for full democracy on overhauling their election
system in 2017.
L
ine’s Weibo account have already flooded with complaints of
thousands of Chinese users while at the same time, Line acknowledged that they
are now working hard to resolve the issue through their Weibo account.
